Get ready for a sweet treat! Join us at Carolyn Clark Elementary School on Friday, April 7 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for the Evergreen School District's Spring Ice Cream event. Our very own Superintendent Hawkins and the ESD Board of Trustees will be serving delicious ice cream for all to enjoy. A reservation link for tickets will be posted soon. We hope you can join us!
Within Evergreen School District we offer students the choice to attend one of our project based learning (PBL) programs for 7-8 grades. If you are interested in having your child apply for these programs, applications for the 2023-2024 school year are now being accepted for Lobo School of Innovation (LSI) at Quimby Oak and Bulldog Tech at LeyVa. The USDA is proposing updates to school meals and asking for parent feedback to help develop the final standards that will best support kids’ health, learning, and growth. Find link in story to submit your comments by April 10.
If your child is currently a 6th grader, now is the time to check your child’s immunization records. If they are not up to date with all the required immunizations or do not have their 7th-grade advancement immunizations, please start the process and submit your child’s immunization record to your school site front office. Attendance Matters, Please make sure your child attends school and on time. School starts at 8:45am, that means you child must be seating in their seat at 8:45am. If they are not feeling well please keep them home and report their absences to the school office.

Attendance Matters
How many absences are too many? Chronic absence is defined as 18 days a year—or just 2 days a month. Call your student's school office if you have questions about your student's attendance.
Are you receiving school communications?
Update your contact information to avoid missing important communications from the school and school district via tools like PowerSchool, ParentSquare and Peachjar.
